What is our SEC record since joining the conference in night road games? I think the last night road win was vs Ole Miss in 2017. I found conf record but couldn't find night vs day games.

you need to stand up out of the weeds your looking at, and look at the whole forest, which is 84+ years of Aggie Football program mediocrity.

The ONLY valid ANNUAL goal for ALL Aggie Sports is a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

the 2017 win vs. Florida in Gainesville was a night game

but if the COVID year is excluded -- there haven't been many in the post-JF years

the 2019 win vs. Ole Miss in Oxford was also a night game

JF won in 2013 at ole miss for a night game? That's since joining the conference right?

One stat I would like to see is how many OT games we have had, and what the record has been since joining the conference.

Because I'm bored - this excludes the COVID year and neutral sites like Arky at Jerryworld:

2024: 0-1 (SCAR)
2023: 0-0
2022: 0-3 (Bama, SCAR, Auburn)
2021: 0-2 (Ole Miss, LSU)
2019: 1-1 (Beat Ole Miss, murdered by LSU)
2018: 0-1 (Miss State)
2017: 2-1 (Beat UF and Ole Miss, lost to LSU)
2016: 1-0 (Auburn)
2015: 1-2 (Beat Vandy, lost to Ole Miss and LSU)
2014: 1-0 (SCAR)
2013: 2-1 (Beat Arky and Ole Miss, lost to Mizzou)
2012: 2-0 (Ole Miss, Auburn)

10-12 overall.

Tidbits:
LSU and OM make up over half the losses
9-4 under Sumlin, 1-8 since

Without elite talent no one is winning more than 50% at night on the road in the SEC. We have been pretty bad in the last six years. I was more worried about South Carolina than tu and now I know why. A 10-2 season is possible but Auburn is not a guarantee.

The weird thing about the SC loss was that it was due to the defense forgetting how to tackle.

The road crowd should not have much of an impact on the defense and especially not on their ability to tackle.
As they say, defense travels.

I will never understand how Sumlin did so well on the road, and why Jimbo was so terrible at it. Just a night and day difference.

We were a lot more relaxed under Johnny Football and Sumlin. Jimbo always had them so uptight.

Sumlin's road success was a strange phenomenon

I believe he won 24 games away from Kyle (road or neutral) in his 6 years

his immediate predecessors -- Sherman and Fran -- were like Jimbo...terrible on the road

It's crazy how much better Kevin Sumlin was in SEC road games than in SEC home games. Sumlin went 13-9 (0.591) in SEC road games and 13-10 (0.665) in Power 4 road games, including a 45-44 loss at UCLA on 9/3/17 after blowing a 44-10 lead with 4:08 left in the 3rd quarter. Sumlin went 9-8 (0.529) in road games against SEC West teams. However, Sumlin went 8-14 (0.364) in SEC home games and 9-14 (0.391) in Power 4 home games. Even worse, he went a putrid 3-12 (0.200) in SEC West home games, including 0-3 against LSU, and a 7-game losing streak at the end of his tenure.

In contrast, Jimbo Fisher was much better in SEC home games than in SEC road games. Jimbo Fisher went 16-6 (0.727) in SEC home games and 17-7 (0.708) in Power 4 home games. Jimbo went 10-5 (0.667) in SEC West home games, including 3-0 against LSU. However, Jimbo Fisher went 7-14 (0.333) in SEC road games and 8-16 (0.333) in Power 4 road games by ending his tenure with 9 consecutive road losses, including 8 consecutive SEC road losses. Even worse, he went a putrid 3-11 (0.214) in SEC West road games, including a 6-game losing streak at the end of his tenure.
