I agree with those results. But the order based on tiebreakers is the following.

Both 7-1
1 A&M beat LSU
2 LSU

All 6-2
3 Ole Miss beat Georgia
4 Georgia beat sips
5 Sips beat Hogs
6 Vols lost to Hogs

the only relevant prediction is that the sips will beat us unmercifully in our own house, on the first game replaying them after all these years........ that will conclude year 85 of Aggie Football program mediocrity.

Even if Bama beats LSU, the tiebreaker would go to LSU

1. Texas A&M (7 - 1)
2. LSU (6 - 2)
Above Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas based on conference opponent win percentage (0.5313).
3. Alabama (6 - 2)
With Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas, below LSU based on conference opponent win percentage (0.5156).
Above Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas based on conference opponent win percentage (0.5156).
4. Georgia (6 - 2)
With Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas, below LSU based on conference opponent win percentage (0.4375).
With Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas, below Alabama based on conference opponent win percentage (0.4375).
With Tennessee and Texas, above Ole Miss based on record vs common conference opponents all played one time (3-0).
Above Tennessee and Texas based on round-robin record due to a round-robin sweep (2-0).
5. Texas (6 - 2)
With Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, below LSU based on conference opponent win percentage (0.375).
With Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, below Alabama based on conference opponent win percentage (0.375).
With Georgia and Tennessee, above Ole Miss based on record vs common conference opponents all played one time (3-0).
With Tennessee, below Georgia based on round-robin record due to a round-robin sweep (0-1).
Above Tennessee based on record vs common conference opponents all played one time (6-1).
6. Tennessee (6 - 2)
With Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas, below LSU based on conference opponent win percentage (0.3594).
With Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas, below Alabama based on conference opponent win percentage (0.3594).
With Georgia and Texas, above Ole Miss based on record vs common conference opponents all played one time (3-0).
With Texas, below Georgia based on round-robin record due to a round-robin sweep (0-1).
Below Texas based on record vs common conference opponents all played one time (5-2).

I do not want to play LSU again! I would highly enjoy never playing them again! I live in BR and hate the possibility of them messing up our season.

OK, you gurus, suppose all your results are correct but the sips beat us. How does it shake out then? (I am not smart enough to figure it out.)

In that scenario if LSU beats Bama

1. Texas (7-1)
2. LSU (7-1)
3. A&M (6-2)

If Bama beats LSU

1. Texas
2. Bama
3. LSU
4. Georgia
5. A&M

Conferences with autobids should be forced to do a 11-game regular season.

Then 4 team bracket given the current standings across many conferences. With emphasis given to avoiding matchups and then based on which game is olders. Aka precedence is given to 2 two who played Week 1 for rematch vs 2 teams that played in week 10; if it avoids a repeat matchup for the other pairing. (You get one rematch vs two)

No 1 vs 4
No 2 vs 3

Look at the Big 10
OSU Oregon Penn Indiana could all have 1 loss

Same with SEC
Georgia Lsu Alabama A&M and t.u could all have 2 losses before the championship game.

This would allow teams that didn't play during the regular season
ALABAMA VS t.u to play
Georgia vs LSU or A&M
Etc
Then have the winners play in the championship.

Sips are about to play 4 SEC games in a row, with no bye, and teams that despise them. If they come out of that unscathed, then tip of the cap.

I would like Texas to lose one more game before playing us, but they are a 21.5-point home favorite against Florida and will probably be double-digit favorites against Arkansas (away), and Kentucky (home). I hate to say it, but I think Texas will win their next 3 games to head into Kyle Field with a 4-game winning streak and a 10-1 (6-1 SEC) record.

That's actually pretty easy The Ags are 6-2 and seems very unlikely we will advance to ATL probably there will be two 7-1 teams or
We lose the tiebreaker based on the fact we played the teams with lower winning percentage ( Auburn State & pig )
At 9-3 and not going to Atlanta we aren't making the CFP

I still believe SEC will only get 3 teams in playoff.

If that is true, who would get in playoff?

5 teams tied at 6-2 + Ags at 7-1
SEC winner
Alabama
Ole Miss

Ags and LSU 7-1
SEC winner
Ole Miss
Texas or Georgia

Rooting like hell we beat tu somehow / someway (as cannot stand them being allowed into the SEC), but there's just no pragmatic reason to believe that it will happen after witnessing the USCe debacle, couple with Moss injury (really our best off player...period), missing key OL and tu has a better defense than USCe (well statistically...they are better in LBs/DBs for sure). Home atmosphere will help, but doesn't win games IMO (esp if we fall behind quickly as team not built to recover).

After really thinking about it, it's almost comical to play the 9th game of the season last week and to have a major 'let down' across the board, tackling issues that looked like HS and look as unprepared as we did (yes, games can get away, but too much koolaide everywhere).

All of these issues have been revealing themselves all year long and first adverse environment, the staff/team did not perform on many levels. Maybe they've overperformed thus far vs inferior opponents (only 1 legit win on sched. vs LSU) which is definitely progress vs. prior years, but still a couple steps away from really competing with top programs consistently.

We've had tackling issue all year (starting with ND), misfit/blown assignments, inability to set the edge consistently, busted assignments/plays (even vs BG), untimely penalties galore, etc.....they have not gone away, but partially subdued or covered up with wins.

I believe Elko will get us there, but this team still lacks discipline throughout a full game and missing quality depth in WR, RB and the secondary. The worst part of it is that next yr gets much harder w sched and losing talent from the DL, but that's a next year board topic.

Clearly you're at the Biden stage of life, where you don't remember anything.... including the things you never did, or never knew. And my dad can whip your dad !

Now that we've got the child responses out of the way, what makes you think we are going to be able to beat the sips this November ? What in our 84 years of mediocrity, including our play in this year (85), leads you to believe we are going to the CC, much less the NC ?

So far, their highest quality win has been against Vandy. Let that sink in.

Yes, but I don't see Florida or Kentucky beating Texas in Austin. I think Arkansas has the best chance of handing Texas another loss before playing us, but Texas will probably be a double-digit road favorite at Arkansas. Arkansas upset Tennessee 19-14 on 10/5, but they got throttled in their last two home games against LSU and Ole Miss by a combined score of 97-41.

Even better when we beat the horns at Kyle Field 30 NOV. Would be a nice "Howdy to the SEC" with beating them. I'd feel more confident about 30 NOV if Ags have a decisive win in Auburn, but our road wins this year haven't been great (and our road loss was part mental breakdown by the team). BTHO Everyone!

Texas is not playing good football right now, regardless of their record or how badly they beat Florida. The defense is weak against the run, the OL is soft, and the RB room is thin and fumble prone. If Florida had Lagway or Mertz and their starting RB, it probably would've been closer to 35-31.

I watched several Florida games this year and Texas made them look really bad. Your team took their foot off the gas after the first drive in the 3rd and started playing backups on both sides of the ball. Texas was playing bad offense but their D is solid, even against the run. You should something about your own team sip. Cause your analysis of them sucks.
