MLB is a major sport......college baseball is not.

Any sport that is rarely shown on TV is not a major sport.

Kim Mulkey, Geno Auriennema and Dawn Staley are female basketball coaches that are all more well known than any college baseball coach.

The reason being is that Womens college basketball regularly appears on National TV as opposed to College Baseball....which only makes the national airwaves during the College World Series.

sips are pouring tons of money into their baseball prog and Schloss. They had a higher ranked class this last signing period (think they were top 3 if I recall and we were top 10, maybe 7th or so).

Early has to beat them this year to keep that edge, but pitching will be the item to see how it unfolds.

I never said anything about their race. Our team makeup could look like BYU, or Grambling State for all I care. Just have a good culture, win, and focus on what matters instead of nonsense and getting that bag.


The players have run this program since Johnny Football. How many QBs have gone nuts and lost their minds/mojo or transferredKenny Trill, Kyle Allen, Kyler Murray etc.

If you listened to the postgame interviews of tu players and Sark, it was VERY clear that this was just another day at the office for them and a stepping stone to the SEC championship and playoffs.They don't care or think about this rivalry like we do. It's everything for us. We could go 2-10, but if we beat tu, people look at the season as a success.

They carry themselves like Saban teams which makes sense since Sark was his protege. We on the other hand have someone who learned from Brian Kelly and Jimbo Fisher....

Actually, we just completed year 85 of mediocrity ! Do what you said above, but in FOOTBALL (not baseball), and START NOW. Next year is another year of mediocrity regardless, so it really doesn't matter at what point in time we get rid of ALL of our current coaching staff, because we need to look at the next 5 years.

Until we are serious enough to go out an hire a professional college football Head Coach search firm, and go with their recommendation of which of 5 HCs are most likely to win a Natty within 5 years, we will never change. That means excluding the BMAs, influencers, and anyone else who thinks they know something about Aggie football, from the selection process.

Otherwise..... having just successfully completed year 85, get ready for year 86 of mediocrity !!!!

The closes we came to winning a national title in any major sport was reaching the final game of the past College World Series final by winning the first game before losing the last 2 games of the College World Series Final. Because we have had the most success in baseball, I think baseball gives us the best chance for a national title.

I think a major sport is one that generates revenue. Im not sure any do outside of football, mens basketball, and baseball. I might be wrong though?

College baseball is rarely on national television and (unlike College Hoops and football) is largely regional.
College baseball has almost zero interest to people outside of the West Coast or the South.

Is College baseball covered regularly in the Houston Chronicle or Dallas Morning News?
Name me the College baseball player from the last 20 years that was more well known than Caitlin Clark or Brittney Griner?

The average sports fan has no clue who won last years National Title in college baseball because the sport is not covered all that much by the Local or National Media.

College baseball is in the same realm as track, swimming and tennis. Sports that don't move the needle....but you are proud of the student athletes if they do really well and bring honor to the school.
