Tomorrow is Saturday. Sleep in.

It's not really ridiculous if you understand how time zones work.

I'm gonna assume your class of 80 making you 67.
Take a nap after work. It's not that late. My old man is 66 & he's not complaining.
Screw you. My 7-year-old doesn't even sleep until 9:30AM. My 3-year-old is wide-eyed and bushy-tailed at 6:00AM each day.TexasAGGIEinAR said:
I'll just wait til later to switch from Busch Light to gin. I might have to delay my evening gummy as well. I'll make it one way or another; just thankful my 3-year-old will sleep til 9:30AM.

Too many games in one day then. Ours should be in prime time. They needed to figure out a way where probably the best game of the day doesn't start at 9:30 for one team's market and 10:30 p.m. for the east coast where no one will see it. I don't see any other games starting that late regardless of time zone. How did we get so lucky?
What does the east coast matter with usc vs A&M? I don't think either team has a strong presence over there. Plus I swear we kicked off at 8 pm playing in a NYE bowl in Florida against NC St in 2018. That would've been 9 local time there. It's not unprecedented

I'm 74 and not complaining. Nut up old Ags!
This could be a blessing based on our last few performances.orag80 said:

Trust me, I count my blessings on this one. I'm working from home today and she literally slept until 10. I'm going to pass on her nap today so we can repeat it tomorrow.Ugly said:Screw you. Speaking of watching Aggie football games in different time zones ... I watched the 1990 Holiday Bowl live starting at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, 30 December, on Armed Forces Radio and Television Network in my bachelor officer quarters in Aschaffenburg, Germany. After the game ended I packed up my television, took a nap, then reported to my M1A1 Abrams tank battalion headquarters to board buses that took our soldiers to Rhein-Main Air Force Base. We then flew by C-141s to al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for Operation Desert Shield, arriving on New Year's Eve and two weeks before Operation Desert Storm and the "Air War" began. It was nice having the resounding Aggie Holiday Bowl victory to think about while deploying to the Persian Gulf that year.91AggieLawyer said:NyAggie said:orag80 said:
Holidays Bowl game starts at 5 pm Pacific, 7 pm central.
Now it does but it never used to
The 1990 Holiday Bowl, where we played BYU, kicked off at 4:30 PST (6:30 College Station time). Pretty much the same as it did every year around then.

It will start at 7:30 regardless of whether the game in front of it runs late.orag80 said:

It is if they want a big TV audience. Local time it is fine, but they are not going to get much of a national audience. Seems like 6:30 pm Vegas time would have been a little better (could not start too early since it is a weekday).

7:30 is still too late of a start to a football game IMO.
To me 6:30 or 7 local time should be the latest it starts. Most college football games will go at least 3.5 hours

Vegas wants folks in the casinos before game time.
After the game they are too worn out to gamble.
