Go B1G in football. Big12 everything else. Get the much bigger B1G TV payout, if we don't like it SEC will always take us back, no question asked.

Our fans show up to watch our guys play. Would have zero impact on attendance. Oregon, OSU, PSU, uSC, etc will draw plenty well at Kyle.

B1G for football, Big 12 for most everything else, but ACC for soccer.

Might as well triple class if you're going to double. The conferences will be delighted with the suggestion to be sure. And, as you say, the SEC will be cool about it if it doesn't work out.

No, they would not. That is naive thinking.

You might as well just go independent in football then like Notre Dame. They're pocketing all of their $14 million playoff earnings supposedly.

Who cares. They screwed us over once and they'll certainly do it again. Snakey would enjoy it.

The only way we can actually move the Big 10 in football is first by winning it all. Outside of that we look like a bunch of pansies who are so scared of Texas we went running north. Win it all first then walk and such accusations ring hollow. Not that I'm in favor of switching conferences at this point.

Agreed, and I'd be fine walking out on them if the right opportunity presented itself. There is no loyalty. Just stating that we would never be invited back to the SEC until/unless there was another massive realignment.

I hope the SEC teams lose every game they play. I'm not an SEC fan. I'm an Aggie fan. Screw em.

We might as well go back to the Big 12 and renew our rivalries with the care bears and tards.

I'm almost there too. The way they snuck tu and ou in has really scuffed up that SEC 'shine'. Even if it's naive to expect that the SEC didn't always have its eye on sip.

I'm right there with you

And honestly if A&M did decide to move to the big10 I wouldn't necessarily be opposed at this point

I can't stand the way the sec went behind our backs and brought the dips in and I can't stand having to play the dips and deal with their bull****

College football was ruined for me the day the sips joined the sec

It was glorious without them in our league

Sec invited in a cancer and I hope it erodes the league from the inside out

Screw it. Lets go to the big and bring Clemson, fsu and North Carolina with us

You left out Notre Dame. All of their expansion is designed to create a landing place for ND. And they would love to get into the state of Texas, and they will NOT take OU, so no tu.

The SEC can rot and burn for all I care. Hopefully sip ruins it all the way like they did all the others so we a good enough reason to leave them behind again.

Disagree. The SEC took Texas and OU for survival. I get that many people don't think the B1G would take OU and that's fine, but they did want Texas. The SEC taking Texas and OU was about keeping them out of the B1G (or at least Texas) and not about bringing them to the SEC. The B1G with those two teams, in addition to the other 4, cannot be matched. Without Texas and OU, the sec is already done.

That said, the SEC is likely already done. We will have to run the tables on 100% of the desirable ACC schools to keep things even. If the best ACC pieces go B1G, the SEC is done. It would be idiotic not to consider being the first SEC school to join the B1G.

The BIG is likely to go after Georgia Tech and Miami. Both are AAU and in Major Metro Areas.
Notre Dame also recently became AAU. AAU means the world to the BIG Presidents given their
research consortium.

The B1G took Oregon, which isn't exactly an academic powerhouse, so I don't see why they wouldn't take OU. Conferences generally want brands that are universally recognizable due to the TV money they generate. All of these realignment moves have been about TV money and nothing more.

Just as there is no loyalty with players anymore due to NIL, we shouldn't be loyal to a conference. Go for the B1G money!

If we join the Big 10 in football, we will probably have to make at least one west coast trip every year. Even with the SEC additions of Oklahoma and Texas, all 16 teams will be in either the central or the eastern time zone. I am glad there are no cross-country trips for SEC athletics.
