This kind of stuff baffles me. After Schloss left, recruiters went on texags and said they had heard for months that Texas was telling players that Schloss was a done deal.

I'd like to believe that they made that known to the AD, and whoever else needed to know so we wouldn't be caught flat-footed.

I can give a little more detail.

He jumped all around. Justifying being at the game. Which is interesting bc there's no reason for him not to be at the game.

He also jumped around talking about past coaches and ADs he has or have not talked to since they left.

He said he directly talked to those who actually were concerned about the picture but screw those that were just attacking him.

He made pointed comments to the guy that posted the pictures on TexAgs.

It was all over the place and basically gave no meat.

Can anyone think of a worse performance overall?

Kellen Mond UCLA, Nick Starkel in the same game. That's immediately off the top of my head. I'm sure there have been many in the past 10 years of freshman QB's and inexperienced lines.

It's hard to tell who is all around in that picture. Very well could also be laughing at two different things or two different people. It's hard to make any sort of conclusions based on a still photo often.
