Why? Just enjoy going 8-4.

I don't care about the differences between the two classes. They appear to be relatively close. The question is can, for once in a 3-4 year period, A&M develop the talent?

It has happened recently, particularly at WR, TE, and QB. If Reed can't operate the offense at a high level this year, I'll have a tough time believing this staff can get it done the next year. Reed did show at times last year but with zero WR and TE help...

Exactly. The classes arent as far apart as a few on here want them to be. If our coaches can develop them we are in a great spot to start competing. Especially if they continue to stack classes.

As for the chicken little gang. I really don't care about the past. If you want your past to dictate your future that's on you but I expect our coaches and administrators to always look for improvements

Team Talent rankings mean less and less because of the transfer portal. The transfer rankings mean less and harder to come up with, IMHO.

So dumb. Our team is made up of who we recruited over the last few years. If you don't look into the recent past, then there's no basis on which to intelligently discuss how we might do going forward. In other words, our recent past does dictate our future whether you like it or not.

In 2023, 7 SEC teams out-recruited us. In 2024, 8 SEC teams out-recruited us. In 2025, 5 SEC teams out-recruited us. There's no point in not being realistic or objective. Vanderpumper telling us he's not sure if he'd rather have Texas' #1 recruiting class is beyond his normal koolaide.

We're not doing anything in the portal that's going to change anything. It's just a fact.

Let's root for our team (and a miracle), but let's not be surprised when we go 8-4. Heck, 8-4 would be a good season for us given our recent past.
