Theo was just at Reed recently and was hilarious. He's has become quite the interviewer these days. I was surprised to see "Joey Freshwater" pop on on his podcasts so I had to give it a listen. He's such a dewsh but was an interesting conversation.

I know a lot of you wanted him as our coach and thank goodness we didn't entertain that!

I'll take a dewshbag that gives me 10+ wins every year over a guy who does it the "right" way and wins only 7-8 games before getting canned in 3-4 years.

Trigger warning - Lane doesn't take any opportunity to sing praises of A&M. This is going to get a lot of yalls panties in a twist. Listener discretion advised.

I thought it was a great interview. Interesting to hear a coaches perspective on recruiting, boosters, and paying players. He talked about how academics and things like graduation rate have gone away, which is something I haven't really thought about. It's too bad this was probably recorded before the Nico story, because they didn't talk about it.

Solid interview as they mostly all are with Theo. Interesting discussion centered around Lane's thoughts on NIL and how entitled players are these days. I was surprised by how blunt he was about it all.

Also worth noting again that Ole Miss has finished in the top 12 three of the last four years under him after achieving that once in the previous 51 years in Oxford prior to him.

He'd absolutely kill it here over all the other spares we keep running through this joint.

I mean, he basically laid everything out about the current state of CFB. He confirmed the greediness of these "student athlete's" who already get a free ride for an "education" and now want more money for proving nothing. Even though I felt Kiffin was very humble during this interview......#FLK.

I feel guilty for saying I enjoyed this interview. I really liked what he had to say towards the end about the tides coming and going and just letting go of stupid stuff. He embraced all the firings as a learning event to start over again.

Keeping his dad on staff was especially cool.

Let's face it the guy likes to do young dude stuff to keep him young…….like trolling on social media. Not your crusty old ball coach way and we will see what becomes of him.

We all complain about his trolling but I think he just wants to be different than the crusty coaches out there holding on to an image that is fading in the new age

Not Lane specific, but it's hypocritical for coaches to say the portal's ruining the game when every one of them would dump their team in a second for more money.

FAU and Ole Miss. FAU was dog**** before Kiffin and after Kiffin but won 11 games with him as head coach twice. Ole Miss has four ten win seasons the last 50+ years and Kiffin owns three of them.

This board is so weird in insisting that Kiffin isn't a very good coach. He clowned Jimbo, who was a clown. Not a reason to dislike Kiffin as an Aggie in 2025.
