07 fresno state for sure. was on 3rd deck and you could watch people sway and drop about every 2 minutes. most of us were shirtless by the end of the game just so we could breath due to the humidity. under the decks looked like triage .

I think the worst part of that day was that there was 0 air movement. just stale humidity and heat.

Yep!
I will never forget walking out of that stadium and it raining down on us and being thankful for the change in the weather.
That was a memorable day for so many reasons and football was secondary.

91 LSU. We trashed them 45-7. I was really struggling. A good Ag made a soda run and brought me one gratis without me asking. Fan of the day!

91 LSU was HOT, but I'd scored top row 2nd Deck goaline seats. There was a constant breeze and shade the whole game. GHT ran wild, the swamp kitties were sad and it was HOT (just not where I luckily drew tickets).

I second that and we still had turf.

One of the September games around 2004. While sitting in the third deck of the Zone, halfway to the Sun, my entire right side was burned for a week….miserable.

I got a cool story about a chick from Rio Vista , a Walmart Mgr in Stephenville amd that game at Kyle against them coonasses in later80's/early 90's

Geez, it was hot, but I truly think the sweet young gal over exagerated Her heat exhaustion so we would go back to my buddy's apt so i could disappoint Her one more time

we drove back to Stephenville so in love to my buddy's apt

then we dumped each other

really makes vou think

Lots of hot September 11:00 am games. The hottest probably was the one I was most hungover on and no sleep.

This one is it for me...seat was in the lower part of 117 and there wasn't a breath of air seemingly all game. I felt like a rotisserie chicken just roasting away. I think I stayed the whole game, but honestly don't recall.

'85 against Cougar High was October, but the third deck felt like an oven rack my Fish year

'07 as a Former Student against Fresno...the heat for almost 5 hours, then drenched by the storm, then a 6 hour drive back to Midland. That van smelled all kinds of nasty

For me, the aforementioned SMU and Fresno St. games
I got into a "heated" debate in the SMU game on this board ahead of the game many years ago because of the early KO time. I was concerned about my elderly dad being exposed to 100 degree heat. Not just my dad but other elderly fans & also young children in the stands. My dad & I had season tix in the 3rd deck of the zone. We hydrated as best we could before/during the game but it was still miserable even up where we were. We left after the 3rd quarter. Saw 3 senior citizens get carted down on a stretcher in our section before halftime. Many parents with kids were gone after watching the FTAB perform.
I've heard many stories of fans having to be treated for heat-related issues during the game.

IMO, it's just not worth going to the game when I know that it will be miserable, even if we win.

I'll gladly watch it at home in the AC with my friends/loved ones and live to see yet another season circle down the drain come November.

IMO, A&M needs to emphatically tell the SEC to only schedule games after 4pm until at least the end of September in an effort to protect their fans. It's simply the right thing to do.

That was so miserable. Slowest entrance I have ever encountered- we were just all trapped in that entryway with no movement, and it was all downhill from there.

Sept 8 day game in a game that lasted 5 hours. (or so it seemed)
Whole game was an absolute oven, and it was so humid it rained in OT.

Entire 2nd half the ramps on the E Side were lined with people laying down and they were giving out free water.
Students moved from the N side to the S Side when the teams switched during OT

1 post and thread over. SMU 2005 was hotter but more bearable. The combination of heat and humidity for that Fresno game was unlike anything else.

I think it was a game against OU back in the day. We still had turf. I was on the very 1st row. The heat off the track turf was crazy. So much much sweat it was like you jumped in a pool.

This one was a scorcher. I remember all of the poor *******s around me sweating Jim beam through their pores. I am surprised no one died of heat stroke that day.

Fresno is the right answer...I remember walking to get a water before OT...and behind the bleachers looked like a MASH scene, people everywhere IV bags for some, it was nuts, but proud to say we pushed through and in true Frantastic Aggie football we squeaked out that W against the power house that was Fesno St.

@ Southern Miss in 1998. That game was the hottest I've ever been, and I roofed houses in West Texas as a kid. The second half was the wettest I've ever been, as the outer bands of Tropical Storm Hermine (IIRC) hit the stadium.

October 10, 1998. It was unusually hot. I think it was pushing 100 with 98% humidity. To put it in perspective that same year we had some 90s at night in December. Crazy weather for that time a year.

#2 Nebraska

Second deck and people were dropping like flys. No clouds. Everyone was baking. It was rough.

Ags took the W. It was a good day!

2007 Fresno State and I wan't even there. I watched it on TV and my heart went out to everyone there, especially the students. It was hotter than blazes that day, and that game should have been played at night if circumstances would have permitted.

I couldn't recall the score but I looked it up. We beat Kansas 28-14.
