Should have predicted that ND would beat Arkansas so badly that Arky would fire their head coach and Petrino would fire the entire defense staff. Then Petrino would mastermind a second half turnaround. That would have been the prediction of all predictions.

I see this year rolling out the same as the last decade. Strong start, maybe even a win vs ND- lots of home games early get everyone hyped, break into the top 4- then get demolished in November and lose out (aside from the cupcake).

I think we can win out totally at this point. History simply disagrees with me. Texas, Florida, and Arky are all much worse than I expected.

They're in the running to get to 10 wins, but I'm not believing in this team until they beat Mizzou or LSU. They really haven't done anything that I didn't think they'd do.

Even though I doubt the defense being as elite as they appeared the last 2 weeks, they only play 2 offenses that scare me down the stretch (Arkie and Mizzou). I also think wild ride Marcel has to find some level of consistency and find his running game without getting hurt. If he's going to be a sub-60% passer, he can't be a non-factor in the run game, especially in the red zone. Also, with our penchant for penalties, we're going FAFO in one of these road games putting us behind.


I'm gaining more confidence in this team, but they are far from a polished product. Fortunately, no teams are in CFB or their remaining schedule, so they have a shot!

That would require losing out except for Sanford. Which would be one of the most epic meltdowns in Aggie history. The fact anyone is still talking about it just points out the idiots or trolls.

Seriously, at worst it's historic 8-4 again, with a win over arky or SC at least. In reality I think 9-3 is all but sold beating those two teams plus samford, and it all comes down to what we can win between LSU at night in DV, mizzou, or TU.

It is nice to see though, my father in law has BAS bad, and even he's went from a .5%er to 4% and had positive things to say, it's kinda crazy honestly. We need to make the playoffs or some of these old timers will crawl into the BAS hole and never return

8-4 (or 9-3) gets you the Citrus Bowl against Michigan.
