Manziel had an absolutely LOADED team and won the Alabama game with a hail mary that his great receiver pulled down. We would have lost had Evans not made that circus catch.

What are you talking about? That didn't happen

Our starting QB has a career record of 5-5... but he is the savior
Our starting QB has lost 4 of his last 5... but he will lead us there
Our starting QB has never won a bowl game... but he is the one

Our backup QB has never taken a meaningful snap... but he is ready

Our starting RB had a season ending injury last year... but he will win the Heisman
Our 2nd rb is coming off a major injury... but he is amazing

Our OL was horrendous last year. but this year they got it

Our starting DL was atrocious last year, but this year they can't be blocked, even by the starting OL that is supposed to be so amazing.

Our starting LBs were clueless last year... but this year Taurean grew taller and gained weight, and gained speed, and can take on a blocker, and doesn't take the wrong line to the ball, and can cover a TE...

Our starting DBs last year couldn't stay close to their own shadows, but this year they understand the scheme and all of a sudden have the talent to stay with the SEC WRs.

Our punter... wait a sec, we are punter U, our punter will probably be good..

And last... Our coach can now put together a game plan, adapt as needed, and motivate the players not to quit the way most of our talent last year quit.

You understand all of these observations need to come true for us to be decent. Not one or two... to be a good team all of these problems need to have solutions.

I don't see it

would you rather us just say....we're gonna suck?!?!?!?!

knoxtom is either a vol or sip but he definitely is not an Aggie. No Aggie could objectively say Johnny isn't even top 20 QB and was basically Flutie on a more talented team.

Class of 89.

What exactly did Manziel accomplish that Flutie didn't? He never won a championship in any form, both won Heisman's, both won bowl games, both were undersized, both were great all around athletes. Manziel had an absolutely LOADED team and won the Alabama game with a hail mary that his great receiver pulled down. We would have lost had Evans not made that circus catch. Flutie beat Notre Dame with a hail mary that his great receiver (although not nearly as great) pulled down.

I think if you want to call someone the greatest ever at a position, you should pick a player that won it all.

Are you talking about the 2012 win at Tuscaloosa? I rewatch that game a few times a year and I don't know what you are talking about.

You guys were right... it was 2013 when he just threw it up in the air every play and let Evans pull them in. It was the loss, not the win

The hail mary passes were in the 2013 game at Kyle Field that we lost, thrown to Evans and Ed Pope. If you're trying to critique something, at least know what you're talking about. There were no hail marys thrown in the 2012 game, just a couple of perfect downfield throws from Manziel to Malcom Kennedy and Ryan Swope.

Difficult to precisely define "assclown". Like art, you may not know precise what an assclown is, but you know one when you see one perhaps?

Generally an unpleasant person who appears to consistently make a fool of themselves and while doing so make others angry? But not to the level of ass - hole? Beyond the level of asshat perhaps?

It's a good word I think. Assclown. Kudos to Mike Judge for coining it whatever one's opinion of Michael Bolton might be.

Texas 8&4 Till I Die!!!

Enough of this already. Elko did way better than Sarks first year. Give the man a chance before you justify your spouting off about how afraid you are to have an optimistic thought.

8-4

We crap the bed on all 3 major road games because we suck on the road on TV

Then we do what we always do and lose an inexplicable head scratcher to someone we shouldn't. My guess is South Carolina or Arkansas.

Neither Elko or this team has earned any benefit of the doubt until they stop doing the things virtually every A&M team the past 20 years has done to wallow in mediocrity

You were THIS close on the SCar game. Oh well. Hope you can enjoy the Playoffs!
