Marcel just said in his press conference that the ND defense was clapping, throwing off the oline. Sure makes me feel better about the amount of false start penalties. Not sure how the officials never caught on though?

Seriously, officiating was one sided against A&M. Not sure why there is not equitable distribution of call. There has to be some meta call evaluation to sort out post game. Only one call SEC crew favored A&M was targeting call

Actually, his foot wasn't yet down out of bounds....he's in bounds until his foot touches down. that was a clean hit.

we got a break on the game-winning TD play. I just watched it again. our OL tackled a rushing DL. It was clear as can be. we got away with one.

it's not like we were getting hosed at every turn

Elko told them the same and the announcers said, "no clapping we can see up on review."

If true, not sorry about he no hold call. If not true, not sorry about the no hold call.

Nah that DL fell forward cause he got beat.

Definitely a takedown by Bisontis. Would he have sacked Marcel with the roll out to the left? I Gotta watch it again. I agree with surprised we didnt get REF screwed again for the 100th time

Yes. It's called disconcerting signals. Just looking at the overall penalty count/yards, I can imagine that they missed more holding calls on ND than on us. We seem to be one of the only teams that I watch that consistently get called for holding while the other team doesn't. Oh well. Got the W.

Yes it is and we got called for it against BAMA AFTER Satan cried to the refs. Hell, I think we even got called for it when we didn't clap

There was the intentional grounding call that came after a very late flag.

I predicted a TD called back for holding on the last play in the game thread and we go out and commit a blatant hold on the play and DIDN'T get called for it.

It would be interesting if you could have AI analyze the video of any game (doesn't have to be ours) and see how often the Blue Blood teams are bailed out as opposed to their opposition.

The only time they talked about it was our last false start. Elko was arguing with the ref that ND was clapping. They showed the replay, and there was no clapping. Can't speak to other instances, but in that instance, there was definitely no clapping from ND.

Agreed, on that last FS there was no clapping. That said, SOMETHING was throwing us off. Discipline or not you FS twice in a row something is getting to you.

At Kyle we call it the 12th Man.

That call is almost always a late flag. As soon as the ball hit the ground, the side judge ran to the ref to start discussing it, that's always the indicator that it's a possibility.
