Based upon the previous running plays … when we were chewing up yards like nobody's business … running the ball on 3rd down was the SMART call. Throwing toward the sideline was NOT the smart call. Klein chose the riskier of the 2+ options, and he failed. He was stupid. What he did was inexcusable and cannot be in any way justified. Ultimately, it's on Elko. He retained Klein.

Edit: My prediction (and I hope I'm wrong) is we actually drop to #10. Why? ole miss and Bama will jump us (assuming they beat Georgia) and LSU and Georgia will be ahead of us. It doesn't matter really. If we don't clean up things and be CONSISTENTLY really good we won't sniff the playoffs. That said, we are undefeated and should win the next two games and defense has looked great and offense showed brilliance against ND. Gig 'em!
