Odds are we lose 1 or 2 of the next 3. We are very good but I don't think top 5. Schedule has been favorable to date as far as home/away in SEC play.

And TexAgs will revert to: Klein needs to be fired, Elko sucks, Bateman is terrible, York is a slow 3*, Reed is staring down receivers and can't get through his progressions, Theo can't block and should go back to Sweden, Bond should be replaced with a spirit girl, etc., etc., etc.

Counterpoint: we already won @ ND, playing @ Pig or Mizzou wont be harder than @ ND.

We must finish 9-3+ to continue momentum and upward trajectory.

As is stands we are bowl qualified right now for the Birmingham or Independence Bowl, every week is a chance to improve our bowl standing.

6 games left, 4-2 gets us in the CFP.

This. Team can afford two losses and still will easily make CFP. Three losses if you include a SEC Champ game.

Agree with their comments. I also thought it was amusing to hear one of them to say that simply because Texas won yesterday they will suck up all the oxygen in the room.

Valid comment.

Did the tv guy really say that?

Yes. It was the color guy.

He was right.

We are not gonna get any real credit unless we handle business vs Arky, and then beat LSU in Baton Rouge for the first time since joining the SEC and going back all the way to 1994.

This

Holy balls this is one of the most misused or purposely misleading "facts" on this board.

We didn't even PLAY A GAME in Baton Rouge for 19 of those 31 years.

Not to mention the refs stole a game from BR under Jimbo... Missed an obvious fumble call or something like that..

I wonder if this is how it started last year?

A&M needs to beat LSU in Baton Rouge. (Arky is a given).

A&M, franky, has never one that game (and I'm not talking about LSU in BR). I'm talking about the big hyped key match up. Two good teams. A&M really has a chance to prove something....and the Ags have lost. Everytime for two decades.

(Im not talking upsets).

If A&M wins, it shows a serious step forward for the program and Elko. If not, its not the end of the world, good progress has been made, but there is still big hurdles out there.

Today's winner for the General Board Burrito Lottery is:

No! Year 1 started with Jimbo and Elko couldn't overcome it in 9 months. We knew it was a matter of time before our lack of discipline play would catch up. We couldn't tackle worth a durn, stop stupid penalties, and honestly we had some players who had learning issues. This is year 2 Elko!

No, we need to win 3 of 3. Accepting a loss before we even play is loser mentality.

3 of 3 and leave no doubt who is in charge of the SEC. I don't want to get snubbed on the SECCG because of some tiebreaking crap.

Even Saban had a difficult year one at Alabama and lost to ULM at home.
