Why would any NFL team want a guy who couldn't even coach up the Louisiana Legend to be at least average after having him for 3 years in his system.

I'm probably giving Buds daughter too much credit but I doubt even she is that stupid.

Not a single university with any intelligence wants to be forced to hire a coach this year in this coaching search environment. And they sure as **** don't want their current coach that just took them to the playoff semi finals publicly signaling he'd rather be anywhere else than deal with their behind the scenes circus.

Strong was my favorite because he got the school sued by the Okie State OC he poached and then dropped. Resulting litigation involved Strong being deposed and that deposition getting released in full.

Strong was dumber than a box of rocks, couldn't even remember his QB's name. (It was "The Brisket" Swopes, BTW.)

The Hubs and I went to the Arkansas bowl game at Reliant wherein sips had negative yardage for most of the game, Bielema found the victory "borderline erotic" and Strong had a perpetual WTF? look on his face.

Honestly I think if t.u loses tonight then sark is done. I mean he has a worse coaching record than jimbo did at A&M so he is definitely on the ropes. Him going to the nfl would save him a bunch if that's actually true.

Texas hasn't been able to hire their 1st choices for the last 10+ years. Hope Sark stays and believe he will absolutely be coach in 2026. Great for us!!

this. As much as Texas may not prefer Sark, and really especially if they lose tonight, voluntarily jumping into this years coaching carousel is madness. (Unless you damn well already know who you are going to hire…. Like an nfl coach or something)

Unless my sarcasm meter is off, this is a bizarre comment considering he took the sips to the final four in their first year in the SEC and beat our ass at Kyle Field and we haven't won a damn thing in 27 years with a multitude of well paid head coaches.
