Houston is one of four teams in the Big 12 with one or fewer conference losses and one or fewer losses overall. They could very well go 10-2 or 11-1, make the Big 12 championship game, win the conference, and make the CFP.

I'm not betting on it, but it is a very real possibility.

It's definitely possible. I would bet 2 make it in. Just hope Marcel is one of them.

On a side note, not out of the question to have 2 on this list make it to NY!

Have any of you watched them play? They are in dogfights with OREGON STATE and let Oklahoma State have three scores?

They will drop two more before the season is over. They are not good. I guess they get to parade around a win over Arizona State alongside MS St.

They sit behind Tech, Cincy, and BYU, with a loss to Tech already. They need each of those teams to lose at least one game apiece, and they don't play BYU.

I've watched a good bit. I suggested their late game conservatism would cost them and it almost did at ASU as a late 24-0 lead almost evaporated. That conservative approach really permeates their games now. I don't think the defense can stand up to it forever although they've managed to for the most part so far. But overall…Bo-ring!!

Houston would need things to fall their way to make the B12 title game or somehow get an at-large bid at 11-1. Neither are happening, the B12 is almost certainly not getting 2 in.

Houston was in a dogfight with Oregon State and should have lost that game. People seem to keep forgetting that.
