What is a better streaming service? I've been on YT tv since it was $39 and now it's $80+. Looking to switch for sports and the wife likes bravo

Take a 5 day (or 30 day or whatever they offer) trial and see.
YTTV will come to an agreement with the Mouse. See what the new cost is and how that compares with whatever else is out there.

I paused my YTTV membership and signed up for the Hulu package. After spending Saturday maneuvering around throughout the day between games and eventually the World Series, I didn't realize how good I had it on YTTV. I'm not sure why the folks at Hulu have their platform the way it is but goodness gracious it is clunky. Can't wait for the squabble to get solved so I can go back.
Fubo is probably the best replacement
I switched to Hulu+ and I like the content. But the format is very inferior to YouTube tv.
Probably going with Fubo. There's no way YTTV digs their heels in when thousands of subscribers drop. I don't think I'm alone in saying I pretty much exclusively use YTTV for sports. Wife loves Bravo though so there's that.
The crazy sports dollars are what's causing this. It will be interesting to watch how this all turns out.

Switching to Hulu/Fubo is exactly what Disney wants considering they own both. This is a play by Disney to drive subs to their dtc app or other services they own and I'm glad YTTV is putting their foot down.
The cost has already gone up far too much, but it's still the best service on the market for the $ and Disney is just trying to force that price even higher.

This. Between food and beers, I'd spend way more than the monthly fee watching just one game, let alone 2

Why would anyone stick with any streaming service year after year?
Find whatever provider for A&M sports is cheapest and go with that until either YDGAF or there's a less expensive alternative. It's not like there's a contract.
ETA - white-knighting Google or Disney in this is laughable. Both are outright evil.

I signed up for Fubo yesterday, and I thought it was pretty comparable to YTTV, which I've been using since 2019. Only $55/month for sports/news only, which is ~$30 less than YTTV. I cancelled my YTTV subscription this morning.
I think this is what I'm going to do. But does this $55 option have Bravo? My wife looooves Bravo.

If you don't really watch anything other than CFB, then an antenna will get you all of your local channels. Just add the ESPN $30 a month package and cancel in January or do the sling day $5 pass.
I had Hulu+ for years. Dropped it this season. I use a digital OTA for the major networks and pay $34/month for ESPN Unlimited. If you have an AMEX platinum ESPN will trigger the $25 streaming credit.

Believe or not, some people watch other things in addition to Aggie football.
I have tried other services but not going to leave YTTV. If it's a huge game I want to see, I'll just go some place to watch it.
Yesterday was a perfect day for them to be fighting with Disney. The games absolutely sucked and I played 27 holes for 6 hours instead.

Fubo was bought by Disney and is being integrated into Hulu Live TV. It's fine until they happpens and won't lose Disney since you're paying the Mouse directly.txAg723 said:

Fubo is the way to go. You can get the news/sports package for $30 less a month. Only thing annoying is that multiview can only be done on apple tv.
