This combo bothers me, it's asymmetrical. I wish the helmet was maroon.

I've always loved the white jersey with maroon pants as a road combo. Prefer the maroon helmet with it, but I don't hate the white helmet. As someone else already said, I'd prefer the white helmet be used with the all white combo.

I think the maroon facemask will tie it in. Funny how something so little could make a difference. The grey facemask looks weird on some combinations.

I'm old and don't care about the reveals.

I'd rather have uniform uniforms with just maybe 1 alternate special non-uniform uniform a season.

So I care more about the uniforms than I do the reveal.

TLDR

Since we are winning the non-uniform uniforms seem to be working. I'll allow it.

So glad that we moved on from this design. Truly terrible. I wish someone would mail the SEC Shorts guys an updated jersey.

This weekend might be only the second time A&M has ever worn this combination. Auburn in '16 was the only time since we've joined the SEC. The only time between 1979 and 2011 that the Ags wore white helmets was against Arkansas and OU in '09 and those were all white uniforms.I don't have any way of confirming they didn't wear W/W/M before 1979, but I don't remember ever seeing a picture of it.

IMHO this is second worst combo of maroon and white we could wear, but still way better than W/M/M (vs Ark '24). Those things were absolutely hideous.

Agree. The maroon pants give the visual of short legs and long torso with white jersey. Looks like Flintstones bodies running around.

[Post-Mizzou game] So what's the final grade on this combo? I dug it... although it reminded me of velvet cake.

Agreed. W/W/W is not icy whites. Icy whites was a one time all white uniform rhat we wore to Miss St that had silver letters and numbers. The normal maroon letters on white jersey is not the same.
