This is the second time I have seen that Old Sarge metal platter. I inherited one from my dad, originally Class of '60 and a member of D Infantry. I never got to ask him anything about the platter. Was it just something he bought, or did he do something to earn it? Anyone have any back story on the significance of that platter?

My dad got it his fish year class of '58
Squadron 4. He never said anything about it.

Anyone remember our JV season in 1983?
Walk-ons and scout team scholarship players played
against juco schools.
Sometimes we played on Thursday night after practice
The trainers would bring out a box of oranges and a box of game jerseys after we practiced for an hour and half.
Then we played a game. It was a lot of fun.

My dad had this hanging up on his wall for as long as I can remember.
An uncommon football team is what we're striving for.
I think we are getting closer every year.
