It wasn't called targeting. I don't think that was a call back then. The call on that play was unecessary roughness, which was even a bigger BS call as the DB clearly tried to pull up/avoid after the WR shortarmed it.

I guaranf'ntee you, if the colors were reversed, there's no way that flag gets thrown and the ref that threw it shouldn't be officiating at the collegiate level because he can't maintain objectivity.

If we got a point for every time that was said in the zoo we'd have enough to beat them ten times over.

1st quarter will be the toughest part of the game. They will be focusing on some serious trickery, anything to get the momentum on their side and us frustrated. We have to stay disciplined and focus. Too much emotion will result us overplaying and getting caught out of position on their trick plays. If we show discipline and execute without error, we most definitely win the game.
