I'm currently in Europe. I plan to either get up or stay up til 1:30 to watch the game.

I've read about VPNs and the chance that someone might stream via YouTube. Anyone have a concrete way to watch the game?

I'm in Switzerland right now and have decided to enjoy that fact.

I can always watch a replay when I get home, and in the off chance we choke the game away, I don't have to watch it at all.

Because they don't have broadcast rights in other countries. VPN is used to trick the systems into thinking you are in the USA. You still have to use your provider to get the content.

You must be in the US for that to work. Sometimes providers will work with Canada and Mexico. Otherwise, you use a VPN to make your IP look like it is in the United States.

I can say that for Canada, YTTV is blocked and does NOT work. Additionally YTTV has gotten very good at detecting a VPN, or at least the cheap one I use.

They pick up NordVPN with ease and it will not work.

Just find a cracked stream and watch for free.

My experience as well. YouTube TV good at sniffing out my real location. FUBO not as good but app hangs 20-30 times a game. DirectTV works well my VPN is Surfshark. Find a friend with DirectTV and borrow their login.

A few years ago I heard a broadcaster must be licensed in a country- think FEES- to broadcast. YouTube may block access when we're out of country to protect their network partners.

I thought I was the only one on Texags to listen to Aggie football on Simple Radio!
