The reality is we've done well enough to reach the High Stakes table where the real payoffs of conference and national hardware are the prizes instead of the consolation prizes of low tier bowl games where we usually are.

But with high stakes comes high risk. Look at TCU a few years ago. Finished 12-0 but lost to K-State in the CCG so no conference championship title. Blown out by UGA so no national title. Yes they had a perfect regular season but it didn't save them in the end.

This is the first game of the high stakes table. Win and all sorts of REAL prizes become available. Lose and you get nothing.

That said, if this team plays like they are capable of, then they can absolutely pass the first test of the high stakes table tonight
