I know the point…I just hate it, even outside the context of a CFB game. A loud crowd relying on yelling is awesome and energizing. A bunch of metal bells clanging is just a thoroughly unpleasant wall of shrill noise.

Just imagine if every school did it…game experiences would be awful. I'd just never go.
