I hope he does leave to see if the next guy can score 30+ in 10 of 12 games with a 180 lb running QB that completes 60ish %.

We can only hope and pray there is some desperate and foolish school out there that will hire him away as their head coach.

Reed was fine going into halftime. It was a defensive struggle and he was like 10/15 averaging like 9 yards per completion plus ~30 yards rushing. Reed was playing well enough. There was no need to play conservatively at that point.

Texas runs cover three and was down three linebackers. A third grader could game plan to match the scenario and take over the game. The whole first half was baffling. Second half was worse.

I've been reluctant to blame Klein, but that second half was abysmal. Get the ball and immediately kill the momentum. It was almost like they were scared to run until the 4th quarter.

Bill Snyder was never great, if Klein wants to be him let's move on.

Offense and defense poorly performed…Klein & Elko/ Bateman calls were a let down tonite. Manning running up the middle untouched was maddening. No rushing game and keeping Marcel as a pocket passer (no RPO, no play action) - Klein did nothing to adjust 2nd half. Not sure how much we can be ready for CFP play after tonite's performance.

He played rope a dope too long and never settled on a path to the throat

you evaluate people on body of work not on a single game or a single play call. He was objectively terrible tonight. Three possessions given away in the second half alone by bad play calling. That said, Klein still gets an a- or b+ on the season for me. Did he make bad calls throughout the season? Of course, but tonight was the first game he lost. And frankly, with the way, the playoffs work, the only thing that matters is the next 4 games.
