If Alabama beats Auburn, they will likely jump us given their ranked wins, so we move to 8

Conservatively, 8 is t he lowest I see us going at this point. We will host at Kyle certainly.

OU I don't think jumps us. Notre dame I don't think jumps us.

Miami, Vandy , BYU all should get in before whorn does.

Yeah, I don't think there is a rational way to get A&M below 8 (honestly, below 7 until/unless Bama wins SEC).

I just think lots of folks like to pretend the world is ending because we lost to tu last night.

Moving us below 7 means you're doing one of the following:
- moving OU ahead of us - a team that got wipped by tu at a neutral site and who held on at home against an LSU team we dominated
- moving ND ahead of us - a team with more losses than us who we beat on their own field
- moving Bama ahead of us - for beating an Auburn team that we're basically told was a "bad win" for us because they're awful

Assuming they win the BDF championship though, they will be above us

ACC and G5 will both get teams in and I'm not sure any of the ACC contenders (I don't think Miami can make that champ game) or G5 contenders are going to be top 12.

So you basically have them sliding in, meaning top 10 is required for an at-large spot.

Unless I'm mistaken, Miami could get to 11, but would still be out because the actual ACC champion and G5 teams would both jump in.

The ACC and G5 Champs would get in, as two of the "Top 5 conference champs"

As somebody mentioned - top 5 conf champs are in, so the ACC will get somebody in and it won't be Miami.

Miami has to hope some things break their way and they're able to be put in to direct comparison with ND.

For Miami, they really, really want Bama to either lose tonight or win the SEC. Either one would move them out of that 10 slot and put Miami near enough to ND that they could swap them. Bama losing tonight would move Miami up a spot. Them winning the SEC would cause them (bama) to jump ND and drop ND a spot.

That would be epic if Miami kicked ND out

Feel like the committee will be too prideful to do that with the precedent they establish in last Tuesday's rankings

Kiffin is expected to announce he's leaving OM tomorrow. Teams are dinged for losing players and coaches. Expect that results in us being ranked above OM. Six spot would be pretty good.
