TT loss is no where close to the same as Oregon or the Ags. No one can justify them higher than the other 2 teams.

Alabama won't get left out if they lose the SEC Championship. They won't get punished for making it to the championship game. I'm not sure how much boost they will get if they win either. I don't see the committee moving these around much after the ranking on Tuesday.

It's certainly possible. Here's an excerpt from their protocol:

Of course, their protocol is vague and they can't even tell you if the rankings are for the "best" teams or the "most deserving" teams. So while they could use this to justify sliding Ole Miss down, it doesn't mean they will.

#5 is the best spot in the whole CFP. You get a home game against a weak opponent. Plus a decent amount of time off between games. And there is a CFP win on the resume. It will do wonders for any program that's not a perennial CFP team.

The first graphic makes the most sense from a TV ratings perspective. Might switch us and Ole Miss due to the coaching departure and to set up a A&M v Tech matchup. I also don't think they'd want to gamble a G5 program knocking off a coach-less Ole Miss for their cinderella story, but I could be wrong. It would definitely make Kiffin look like an even bigger POS

Chaos. A 2 loss team can't jump all the one loss teams, especially since they only made that game because of an internal conference tie breaker. UGA shouldn't be punished for losing a game other teams didn't have to play. But how does UGA stay ahead of a team that beat them twice? And how does Bama jump OU, who beat Bama in their place a couple weeks ago?

If Bama wins, I think the committee comes up with some BS about how the CCG should be an honor to compete in, but shouldn't be held against a team because it's an extra game that others didn't have to play. They could say it's reasonable to assume the other one loss teams would have lost that game too. Bama moves to 8, behind Oregon, A&M and Oklahoma. Ole Miss gets hosed and the justification will be that they don't have an offensive staff worth a crap.
