I'm shocked too. LSU has a huge sense of entitlement. I thought Kiffin was not good enough for them.

I don't get the hate. If he told LSU or Florida for that matter that he wouldn't negotiate until after the playoffs, that's just the same thing as turning the job down. These ADs have to make a hire prior to the portal and/or class starting. It's just a terrible format for coaching decisions.

This simply boils down to the transfer portal. If it had one date (late spring) or players still had to sit a year, no one loses on this deal. Always be careful what you wish for...
