He filed a waiver a couple days ago with the NCAA, only played in 2 games his freshman year at Div2 which have different redshirt rules. Likely to get approved.

Moffitt was promised by Woodward that he'd still have a job regardless of who the coach was. I'm guessing Kelly's condition was that Woodward get rid of him.

Fans had been attacking and wanting Moffitt gone for the last few years of Orgeron's run because the teams weren't as physical. In reality, Orgeron just ran a soft program and practices.

Worried for LSU or TAMU about Ed O as DC? The defenses were not great during his stint as a DC under Kiffin at USC, and I'm not even sure he called plays as Monte Kiffin was on staff as an AHC. I think it was a title only situation to retain him as recruiting/DL coach which was his strength. I believe he had the DC coordinator stripped from him during Kiffin's last year at USC so he could bring in a real DC.

DC won't be Ed O as it sounds like he'll be retaining Blake Baker.

**** ole miss, Lane tried to stay and finish out the season, but the butt hurt powers that be would rather destroy those kids hard work and tank the rest of the season.....all for spite.
