No. As much as the committee should move tech behind us with a loss, they'll somehow argue losing a conference championship game for loss #2 isn't as penalizing as losing to a top#15 ranked rival on the road in the final game of the season for loss #1. Or they'll move BYU ahead of us.

They want the Ags vs ND matchup with Bama as the backup. And they also want Ole Miss getting a bone for losing Kiffin.

Scar is 15th and averages 111

As you pointed out Texas hit 136 so over their average and almost 20% more than our defense averaged
Scar rushed for 121 so again I er their average and above ours as well

That's just statistics and not bull***** Another way is to realize how many BIG runs we give up. We are one of the worst in the country at that. So it's not just the average yards per game it's how impactful the runs are.

My bad I got a little distracted. But yes let's dive into the details on the ND game. They had 135 rush yards on us which is about 20% more then or average.
One more piece is that includes -15 on sacks. It also includes the -11 yards on the 4th down play that they ruled a fumble that we recovered. So really you could say they put at least 146 on us just counting that one play and not sacks

Their 2 rbs ran for 94 and 68 yards respectively. They had 4.1 and 5.7 yards per carry.......oh yeah they ran for 3 TDs

The majority of the fans I know would say that's running the ball pretty damn well. Certainly closer to running all over us than us shutting their run game down

In 2024, 11-1 Texas dropped from 2 to 3 after losing the SEC CG to 10-2 Georgia (5) and 11-1 Penn State dropped from 3 to 4 after losing the Big Ten CG to 12-0 Oregon (1).

It's always what have you done lately focused where people are involved.
