Can only imagine what round York would be drafted in, just bc height/speed vs NFL's preferences. I'm sure we'll encourage KC to go pro if he's a 1st round projection, idk about 2nd round. But he might cost us $1.5m to keep him even if he wasn't draft-eligible, if no discount given by him.

We're in the mix for Coleman at Auburn.
Projected to cost around $2 million, thought I had read would be his market value.

Concepcion is getting multiple late first round projections. He's quite polished, and has very little athletic upside.
What does "very little athletic upside" mean? He's got a good vert and solid speed with a great stop/start. I agree he should go pro if he's projected in Round 1, just because there's no guarantee you don't get hurt or simply have a less productive season if you return.

Additionally, this is an iffy WR class.….but they aren't comparable, as a group, with the talent and depth of 2027, ie Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, Cam Coleman, Nick Marsh, Ryan Wingo,
Not wingo. Lol stone-hands and not that fast or agile.

At that price, I'd rather just give that money to KC to keep him.

I think it's far more likely that Terry leaves. I don't think craver will go yet.

We need to go get Coleman out of the portal to replace Concepcion.

Is Coleman in the portal? I thought an earlier post about that turned out to be fake news.

He broke a huge one vs Notre dame tha got called back by a BS holding call that had no effect on the play.

He ran right past the spot where the ND player likely would have been after a few more steps, but it's cool… misguided ref rage is what we do best. Carry on.

If Myles didn't het reinjured, he would have been top 3 WR and a starter. He adds size, speed and catch radius. Losing him was huge as he was owning practices catching everything.

Hoping he comes back 100% as integral to the team. Gregory just signed will be similar.

How good is Gregory?
Gregory is supposed to be very good, like improved on improved to the point now he could see significant time next season. Enrolls early.

I'd argue we should get 1 elite WR out of the portal.

I went and watched his film from his senior season. You are right that he is really good. It looked like he was playing against good competition too.

Madden Williams could end up being a really good player for the Ags. He runs great routes, has strong hands, and makes tough catches.

Concepcion isn't going to grow nor is likely to get faster. He's nearly completely filled out his frame.

Say what you will about Wingo, but one season with minimal drops and a NFL teams will look at 6'2", 215lbs frame, with 100m time of 10.55s and verified times at sub 4.4s 40, and they'll say "imagine what we could make this kid!"

Drops are a concentration problem with a lot of potential to improve, whereas, you can't stretch Concepcion taller. Concepcion is the player I'd rather have in college football, but I 100% understand why many NFL teams would absolutely take Wingo over him.

If Concepcion does go pro (which I would expect), I absolutely agree we should parlay our passing game production this year and go grab a top end guy.

For the first time in over a decade we can actually show that we will use them.

You could definitely make the case that our top 4 guys (Craver, Concepcion, Bussey & ABR) all had more opportunity this year than our top 1 had over the last 4-5.

If memory serves Coleman came down to us or Auburn. Not that that matters anymore . He'd be a great addition imo.

He was committed to us for months and then flipped when Jimbo got fired.

Why is nobody talking about Izaiah Williams? He looked pretty good the little we saw of him.

He's developing nicely and I could see him taking a step next season and getting more playing time. There is going to be a lot of competition in that WR room, which is good.
