Concepcion is getting multiple late first round projections. He's quite polished, and has very little athletic upside.
What does "very little athletic upside" mean? He's got a good vert and solid speed with a great stop/start. I agree he should go pro if he's projected in Round 1, just because there's no guarantee you don't get hurt or simply have a less productive season if you return.

Additionally, this is an iffy WR class.….but they aren't comparable, as a group, with the talent and depth of 2027, ie Jeremiah Smith, Ryan Williams, Cam Coleman, Nick Marsh, Ryan Wingo,
Not wingo. Lol stone-hands and not that fast or agile.
Concepcion isn't going to grow nor is likely to get faster. He's nearly completely filled out his frame.
Say what you will about Wingo, but one season with minimal drops and a NFL teams will look at 6'2", 215lbs frame, with 100m time of 10.55s and verified times at sub 4.4s 40, and they'll say "imagine what we could make this kid!"
Drops are a concentration problem with a lot of potential to improve, whereas, you can't stretch Concepcion taller. Concepcion is the player I'd rather have in college football, but I 100% understand why many NFL teams would absolutely take Wingo over him.
