to me this season seems more wide open than most. it's anybody's ball game who can string together the best few games in a row. should be fun to watch

Possibly the result of NIL and the portal spreading out the talent pool.
These teams look evenly matched. Will give props to IU for that.

QB play can make or break a team, and Mendoza is goooood
Indiana's floor is extremely high. They play smart and don't make too many mistakes.

I just don't know what to think of either of these teams, (EDIT--like Tceh) because there are so many in their conference who put absolutely nothing into football and their road games MAY have 50K in the stands. Indiana played 6 of the bottom 7 in an 18 team conference! They are hanging with OSU, but you could almost make the same argument against the Buckeyes, although their conference schedule was better.
I would like to see an up tempo offense really push these defenses and see what they are made of.

Bottom line Mendoza is legit and deserves the Heisman. Love Marcel but he isn't close to the QB that Mendoza is. I had doubts, but yeah the kid is for real.

Duke and Indiana winning championships in football? Tech won their first conference title since the 1950s. They never won the swc or the Big 12 until now. Indiana is the second worst fbs team in history.
I hadn't watched one B1G game this year, but dang watching Mendoza he's the most accurate passer in college and there's not even a question about it.

No-Their transfer portal was ranked #25. Ours was ranked 11 for comparison. It's Cignetti. He is simply fascinating.
They good but I don't see them winning the championship and depending on the bracket may not make the big game.
