I agree with this too. So this would put TTU vs Aggies, Oregon vs OSU, Ole Miss vs UGA, and OU/Bama vs Indiana. Those are great games. Flip Ole Miss and Oregon if you want to avoid the two conference games. Also ND instead of Miami. So it would be ND vs Georgia

I flopped A&M and Oregon after you quoted that, but I really go back-and-forth on who to rank higher.

everything is very close in the strength of schedule and strength of record metrics THAT SHOULD BE USED (not the ones actually used) We have the better win, they have the better loss.

They will have ND at 9 and Bama at 10 which gives them cover for not having Miami right next to ND so they can downplay the head to head. Ole Miss will get Tulane rematch, aka auto win, first round

Zero chance we jump Ole Miss, unless they use the Kiffin leave as a reason which they didn't last week. Tulane and UGa winning boosts their resume

Yes they should. Alabama should not been in the game to begin with, but if they play then the game matters. The purpose of the cfp is to get the 12 teams to make the best playoff. Alabama shouldn't be on the playoffs with 3 loses.

Question: would it have EVER been a possibility for Oregon being the 8th seed? I don't think so. The 8/9 matchup is at 11am central.
