I think it could help us jump Ole Miss. it's clear we could have used him against Texas. And I think the committee saw that. We need to let the world know who our OC is and who is healthy.

At this point seeding is important. If they put us at 7 we will be slated to play Georgia. I would much rather play OSU.

5-6-7-8 aren't changing. The top 4 will remain the same teams with a slight change of order. 9-12 is where the discussion and changes will be interesting.

What will be their justification for OM over A&M? They had a ton of media attention dropping Aggies so far after a 10 point loss to a rival on the road. So Aggies only loss all season is to Texas and they are without Moss but with Moss they stay below OM?

I understand the knee jerk reaction last week. But we have had some time pass and I don't think it sits well with them as it did last week. Especially after so many media folks said so.

I just think they have bigger fish to fry than reseeding teams because of a RB who they probably aren't even aware of. If any reseeding occurs between OM and A&M it will be due to Kiffin leaving. But I also believe the chairman shelved that possibility last week when asked if that would be considered. The committee has some slight rearranging to do at the top and some heavy discussion and debate about seeds 9-12. That's going to consume the discussion and seeds 5-8, who none played are an easy decision to leave alone.

We looked like shat in 6 of the last 8 quarters of football we played. Disagree all you want but that's what objective people see.

This is from CBS sports last night on their expected final rankings. A&M isn't moving up.

Quote:

6. Ole Miss: Not only did losing Lane Kiffin not affect the Rebels' standing, but the committee boosted Ole Miss last week after routing Mississippi State on the road to finish 11-1. The promotion of Pete Golding to head coach coupled with Charlie Weis Jr. returning to Oxford to call plays for a postseason run strengthened the committee's opinion of Ole Miss, though we didn't hear that publicly. Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels will get a first-round home game with a chance to move on to the quarterfinals as a betting favorite.

Quote:

7. Texas A&M: After sliding behind Ole Miss last week, the Aggies will be at home in the first round as a one-loss SEC selection from the at-large group. Texas A&M squandered an opening-round bye opportunity in the finale at Texas, but a victory at Notre Dame this season was one of the nation's best, and they tip-toed around several SEC opponents down the stretch to finish off one of the best regular seasons in program history.

How in the heck do you figure that??? We pulled all our starters after the first quarter of Stamford. And we held Manning to completion of 5 out of 30 passes and 49 yards or so at the end of the half and were ahead going into the half of the tu game. We were punished for a bad 30 minutes of football… plain to see.

The only thing that matters is what's on the scoreboard when the clock hits 00:00. Stats don't score points!

Sorry, but no one cares what happened against Samford. Continue on with your rose colored glasses while the rest of the world sees us for what we did against USCe and texas. It wasn't pretty.
