You either see it as an impossible task Miami then OSU or you see it as the opportunity we've always needed to flip the script on a national stage.

On one hand this is a hard road. But on the other if we could play our very best brand of ball we may turn the tide for good.

I say we beat Miami and if everyone is healthy we absolutely will give OSU everything they can handle.

I'd rather be playing JMU and then Tech, but I guess we're nowhere near the team that Oregon is.

Osu is not as good as the Yankee press would have you believe

It's really only the first round that there is a disadvantage IMO. Once you get into round 2 all the teams will be really good. If we beat Miami, is drawing Ohio St. really worse than playing Georgia or Indiana? Tech will probably be a dog to Oregon too.

Tech is an easier 2nd rd game by large orders of magnitude.

I wanted Tech really bad. The best defenses they played all year were Arizona and UCF. Seriously..

And they haven't played an offense with the talent we have, nor have they played an offense with high end OL.

We would have easily beat Tech. Too bad we won't get the chance, as they will be 1 and done.

I think we have the 2nd hardest first round game, 2nd hardest 2nd round game.

I think Bama and UGA are better teams than Miami and OSU.

I think we have the third hardest. I think Georgia and Indiana are better than OSU.

Easier yes but I think you're over valuing Ohio. St and undervaluing Tech. Tech is power rated in the top 5. Sagarin has Ohio St. as a 4.5 favorite over tech. Tech is only one bracket anyway, playing Georgia or Indiana isn't any real advantage over playing Ohio St. Ohio St. had a very soft schedule, beat Texas by only 7 to start the season and lost to Indiana last night.

Well we will see how good OSU is. I think other than Indiana we will be the best team they have seen all season.

Opportunity to flip the script, IMO.

I stayed away from the boards for my mental health after the loss to Texas. The internet does weird things. But the loss to Texas didn't re-ignite my BAS. LSU, then travelling to Missouri to see that game, then being in Kyle Field for the S Car comeback permanently buried it.

Texas didn't beat us, Manning didn't have his best game, blah blah blah. Unfortunately, our coaching staff dropped it. Huge Elko fan, every great and awesome coach deserves a mulligan occasionally. We lost Texas because Elko moved us to a 3-4 D in the 3rd Quarter. And at times, Klein gaffed (e.g., 2 yards for a first and we go to the deep pass that Reed hasn't been able to hit consistently).

Not an impossible task. Hopefully the team and coaches learned from the Texas loss, and with Moss coming back, I believe we can play with any of these teams and win.
