Now do Oregon. They rode a road win over a 3rd rank Penn St. that finished 6-6 to a #5 ranking. They should be behind both A&M and Ole Miss. That's the one that gets me, and it's showing the northeast bias coming back again. Those pushing the "Big10 is better than the SEC" agenda have been having their way all year. Yet their depth just doesn't compare.

It's not just NE bias anymore.

It's now Northeast AND West Coast Bias now that the B1G controls both super regions to make sure the B1G is overrepresented and has the highest seeds ensures the most viewers longer

This is how it is now. The B1G now represents almost half the country's population footprint and most of it completely unopposed by power conference competition or only opposed by weak ACC teams.

The networks understand this. That is where this new era of B1G dominance is being pushed and there's honestly not much the SEC can do about it except try to overcome the bias and win anyway

Nobody is watching those games. I wouldn't spend very much to advertise during those games.

If you want to win it all, I think it's better to open against a stronger opponent. no hangover when you get to OSU

Why was Tech allowed to **** the bed against Arizona State?
Why was Oregon allowed to **** the bed AT HOME against Indiana? While also not beating anyone?
Why was Ole Miss allowed to **** the bed against Georgia?

In every CFP (from 2014) except '20 and '21, the eventual winner always took on the harder opponent in the opening round. 2020 was the LSU super team and 2021 was a saban coached bama.

There is some truth to rocking the hardest path, build momentum, and begin believing.

This is an opportunity for A&M to start making the big strides in winning big games. It's is something that has alluded them for decades.

Beat Miami, and maybe, just maybe, they get a head of steam going into Ohio State.

The committee never thought we were good. We are lucky that whatever wild ass made up process they used got us Miami, because that was by far the easiest game we were getting

Yes, would I have preferred Tulane or JM; however, the twelve team playoff/tournament has been set. Just win.

If we don't, we don't deserve the National Championship.

The 4/5 seeds have an easier path. No TOSU nor Dawgs until the final. Not disrespecting the Hoosiers, but I would rather play IU than those two teams.

It's a playoff. If you can't stand the thought of playing the best teams then why are you in? I'd be perfectly fine if we had Indiana or OSU round one.

Here's my issue. We're at the point that we're paying significant money in subscriptions to watch paid, professional entertainers entertain. We should be given THE BEST product. Teams 1-12, regardless of conference.

The days of pretending this is amateur athletics is over. The age of a guaranteed spot for the smaller conferences should be over as well.

Who the hell wants to watch a game with a 21.5 point line?

EDIT - And JMU will never cover that line.

Totally ridiculous to have JMU and Tulane in the playoffs.

Of course if we were seeded just 1 spot higher I would NOT complain.
