If a team opts out of their bowl games their players Heisman candidacy should be revoked. That award should go to players that sign up to play in the postseason.

Just my opinion. Cry babies should not get Heisman invitations.

They say the Heisman is a "team award". It goes both ways.

I did read that you stated it would cost him votes and may not get invited. But I think they should just make it a matter of policy. I wanted to see if people agreed with outright banning players and teams that do this.

so the award on Dec 13th is given the first bowl games are Dec13th

so how would you invoke your theory? By just saying that any team who declines a bowl game cant have anyone voted on ? what if the player wants to play but the team doesnt for whatever reason

They can remove names voted on that declined bowl bids.
That's the suggestion. Anyway.
