Friends asked me coming into the season, "is Texas A&M any good?" My response was always, "You're not going to want to play them"

Use this thread for positivity towards the Ags. How about a Heisman contending QB, best player has been sidelined for the good part of the season, and we have KC Conception making plays all over the field. I wouldn't want to play this bunch. Kick the door down Ags.

I know Elko wants to prove his loyalty to the staff, but letting his OC (who kind of botched the last game) split time with his new employer is his first really big mistake (IMHO).

Coach Elko always looks at the long game…

We fans would be better off (IMHO) if we quit constantly griping about short term issues and looked at things long term…

Keeping CK and let him transition into KSU along the way, is smart… Will pay dividends with the next hire…

Or, we could be Lane Kiffin and continually burn things down…

I may be old school, but Mike Elko has gotten us to a place we haven't seen in, we'll, ever..

I'll trust him on this one…

We lost to the sips because we didn't spy the QB. Hold his runs to under 15 and we win that game. TU had a good defense, we knew that going in. But our defense didn't hold up its end of the bargain.

Look it, Klein has as much or more loyalty, character and humility than most anyone who posts on this board.

I would say in most instances, you can't be loyal to two gods (lower case on purpose). However, I believe if Klein believed he wouldn't be able to do this, he'd bow out on his own. In living his own life, he's shown these values.

Manning did not have any long runs in the second half on pass plays. Go check the game log. He had a designed run on 3rd and 3. If you want to blame the defense blame the run defense because Manning had two runs on pass plays in one drive that resulted in 3 points.

A&M lost because after Reed hurt himself we did not run RPO at all. That may have been a decision made internally but there was none in the second half and the offense struggled.
