The sips play Michigan earlier that NYE day. Their T-shirt fans will be watching A&M playoff promos throughout their game.

Yep and some of our dumbarses will do horns down while on espn gameday and playing against Miami. Living rent free, unfortunately

They're not in the top 12 in any of the polls. How do you expect to get into a 12 team playoff when you're not even in the top 12? The committee finally got it right by giving ND the boot in favor of Miami because of the head to head win. BYU had two cracks at Tech this season and lost both games by a combined 49 points. That left the door open for the G5 conference winners getting in.

Somehow in their mental gymnastics they think because of the committee left ND and BYU out, that should have moved them up and into the playoff. The committee left those teams out so they could let Tulane and JMU in. If they were going with just the top 12 in the polls, they would have just left BYU and ND in and Texas would still be out. Either way you slice it, they were never getting in and everyone knew it.

This thread would be much more enjoyable if we had beaten them. Honestly, seems kind of pathetic in the context of our loss. Instead of talking about how much we are enjoying the fate of a team we lost to (pretty handily, I might add), can't we just focus on Miami and our future?

The problem with tu and their fans is that they have bought into the notion that they are a blue blood program when the fact is their athletic department is just really good at marketing and working behind the scenes to create an unlevel playing field.

I despise Notre Dame and OSU, but they've at least got more hardware to support their blue blood perception.

Why? What is discussed on this board has zero bearing on what happens during the games.

Players and coaches talking about this stuff, yeah, cause for concern. Fans discussing such things, not so much.
