What point are rankings before the final? All it does is cause problems. Rank them once at the end of the season.

It's ridiculous to move teams in relation to one another if they aren't even playing.

Do it right the first time or only publish it once.

This has been said every year since they began it with the 4 team playoffs. It's for ratings and debate. Anyone just now banging the drum is pandering. Where were they 10 years ago?

It's the same as politicians floating "trial balloons". Put something out there that's meaningless (because only the final poll matters). Then wait to see who complains and adjust.
