Of course we don't get any respect. We have the strongest SOS and SOR of any team in the playoffs yet get slid into the 11am slot as the 7th seed with teams like Ole Miss ranked ahead of us who have a much weaker resume and no HC, and James Madison in a night game.

They don't even know our player's names or that we won every damn game this season outside of a rivalry game which is clearly proven more competitive than conference championship games.

The biggest concern is our OC who has one foot out the door, but Elko is smart enough to know the potential conflict it poses and Wiggins is gunning for a chance at OC. And if Klein wants to help make his recruiting pitch any easier, he stays dialed in for a run. He's got two weeks to figure it out.

Respect won't be given to us, ever. We're gonna have to kick their doors down and take it. It's time to become the most hated team in cfb. That's the type of respect we'll take.

I agree with your sentiment… now is our chance to knock down the door… playing two teams that the national media thinks very highly of… one at Kyle Field, and the other in our backyard, the Cotton Bowl. The Fightin' Texas Aggies are never going to get a better opportunity to prove everybody wrong on a national stage! GIG'EM!!! BTHO Miami!!!

11 am slot is actually the one that will get the most viewers as the afternoon and evening slots will be going up against NFL games.

Texas A&M football gets way more respect than it deserves. In fact, a study revealed just how much the media gushes all over us year after year by the fact we are the second most overhyped program in all of college football for the last 15 years. The media routinely slaps a top 10 or top 15 preseason ranking on us and we are the ones who go 8-4.

I think the media slaps a top 15 ranking on us only to watch us fail and make us look bad….

I can't tell you how many times I see us ranked high and know for fact we aren't that good

It designed to hurt our recruiting

We look good if we overachieve thus they never rank us low or where we should actually be

This might have been the first year I thought we were ranked appropriately at the start

Yes it will
Look what it's done for Indiana after 2 consecutive seasons of winning. A basketball school who didn't get any respect last year. A perceived one and done kinda season. Now this year. Completely different in how people view them.

It is generations.

This is the proverbial "turning of the corner." This is the step A&M hasn't been able to take. I do think that A&M made a step this year by winning the games it was supposed to. That's a step in the right direction and often A&M couldn't even do that.

And even more so the Astros. Hell, if we ever ended up winning the whole damn thing I wouldn't be the least surprised in them trying to say we cheated by doing anything that the rest of the "blue bloods" aren't already doing.
