Hope so...but could have whipped his azz without saying anything and let the NFL see it. He's just riled up one of the better DL in all of the NCAA who might be a higher ranked prospect.

We'll see, but seem to recall every time Zuhn makes a proclamation (which has been very few), it correlates to not so good news (but not going to research that anecdotal stmt ).

If you listen in context he was calm, confident, and classy.

Nothing overly cocky or combative.

I have no problem with the confidence but you have to go back it up with your play. The offensive line had it's struggles against South Carolina and texas to end the season, especially in the run game.

If you listen to the whole press conference, he basically just gave a lot of Coach speak. A lot of we just need to worry about us, we want to take it one game at a time, we have full confidence that the coaches are going to give us a good game plan to be successful, etc. if someone wants to get upset over this, fine I guess. But I didn't take anything he said as a shot at anyone, just more along the lines of we need to focus on ourselves.

They didn't even know who they were playing until just before the presser, it's not like he's been doing film study on Bain all week.

We opened up a ton of holes in those games. Marcel hits the underneath stuff and we carve up both defenses.

The OL is doing their part and then some. All season

Agree. They intentionally left out "I have not had much time to watch film yet" which softens it a fair amount. He was asked the question, he did not come out swinging at Bain. In full context he is just saying he has confidence the line is capable.

I didn't see a whole lot of push in either game from the offensive line. The rushing totals for both games were well below our season average. And Marcel actually contributed most of the rushing yardage against texas.

Why say this? Yeah, it wasn't that inflammatory, but why say it? Just not smart in my opinion.

Zuhn does this every time we put a microphone in front of him, and somehow coaches haven't thought to tell him to stop giving bulletin board material. It's starting to seem beyond idiotic. He talks trash, and then gets smacked on the field. Next will be Reed and OL Adams saying something for more bulletin board material for our opponents, and then getting smacked on the field.

This generation's concern with feels and making sure everyone is free to do as they please will be the downfall of a once great country. In other words, we were all better off when kids shut up and sat in the back like they should.

This was originally posted awhile ago…Like Trey…great Ag and support him and team.

But there's a correlation of we talk and don't seem to follow thru. Trey has not had a good day thus far nor the OL as have given up 5 sacks thus far and been very porous.

Hopefully can win this and more time to improve.

Here's some friendly advice to the next A&M player who gets a mic stuck in front of them BEFORE a big game and gets asked about the opponent:

Talk graciously and with humility. Talk about how great said player is and that if we don't contain them, we'll lose. That's it.

Running your mouth like Zuhn did makes you look like a dumbass after you lose and puts a target on your back during the game.
