I wish all the P4 teams boycott ND and not play them. I mean, how much does Purdue lose by not having them on their schedule?
IMO, ACC has every reason to ditch their association with ND, all the way indy or not. Would the B1G grant them full membership with the separate ND/NBC TV deal intact? I'd wager the Big XII would since they don't have a conference network.
But if ND truly ends up as an indy, they can easily be boycotted.
Well, it sounds like there is a press conference tomorrow by ND where they could possibly ditch the ACC on their own. ND AD said yesterday that this outcome has steeled their resolve to be even more independent and then said today that the ACC somehow hurt them with this playoff outcome, thus the press conference tomorrow.
I hope they totally bail and become a pariah and then everyone else blackballs them.
This carve out rule for ND is so blatantly unfair as to almost be unbelievable. Anyone with ties to A&M BMDs needs to get on the horn and make the aware of it and have them pressuring our AD to then pressure Sankey to raise hell about it now and get it killed. I can't believe this has been allowed to happen by the SEC and the Big10. I really hope Ohio State and/or Georgia get screwed by this rule next year if it stays in place. It's going to take one of them getting screwed over for something to change, most likely.
