Uh, yeah…The only real argument for Reed was that he was an undefeated qb.

He's been a turnover machine the last few weeks. He also seems to have forgotten what makes him electric (his legs) for some reason. If he can get over trying to be a pure pocket passer, then he'll see numbers get better. He torched lsu early with his legs and the defense was soft after that. Try to stick in a pocket and the defense gets much tighter.
King would have beaten the sips
This. Reed is streaky, exciting, inaccurate, WOW!, and turnover machine. He's far far too inconsistent. Only three SEC QBs have more turnovers, Reed is 13th in completion %, 3rd is passing TDs, 4th in qb rushing. He's had a very good season, and has far outplayed my expectations, but he's not at all Heisman caliber.jt16 said:

Sure looked like a candidate the first half of South Carolina. Hellen Keller could have done better

The first half against SC and the second half against tu pretty much put a nail in top 10 Heisman.
Reed hasn't played to the Heisman expectation. Sadly, if we had beat Texas, he probably would have retained Top 10. But he has had a few games where he looked pretty bad. So no feelings hurt there.
Just hope Reed can progress significantly from this season to truly become an accurate passer. That's his only pathway to the NFL anyway. Glad to have him but he has a lot of developmental work to become a true Heisman.

It's amazing how obvious this is to the entire world, yet Klein just refuses to take advantage of Reed's best attribute.
Reed forced too many throws in the coverage and was inconsistent on just checking down to the shorter route. Hopefully next year he will be much better on decision making and game management.
