Coach Surratt is undefeated in state title games at Carthage, and i believe this will be his eleventh in eighteen seasons if they beat West Orange-Stark tomorrow. That's incredible no matter the result and has to make him the GOAT of TX high school football coaches.
That is an incredible accomplishment at any level but particularly in a smaller classification where you're prone to getting a couple of less athletic classes back to back. It's a testament to the program and culture he's built there.

I'm even older but have been very pleased with Victory. Multiple venues to view (Hulu, Apple..,) and free. I've had Dish Network for many years and was not carried on Dish last year.

It works on my phone, but trying to make it work on the TV, it puts me in a ceaseless cycle of asking me to sign up, rejecting my password, rinse, repeat. Oh well ... And yes sir, Class of '79. Btho Miami!

#0 for Lone Star, Groce, is a Florida recruit who is just unreal. And the QB, Trey Wright, #3,, is only a sophomore but gives Johnny Football vibes.
They have a smattering of other D1 recruits on both sides of the ball.
I was there for both that game and the desoto v slc game the next day. It was a GREAT 2 days of football.
