maybe, the other thing i wouldnt mind going with a darker shade of maroon, like a Hex Code: #190101 or #330006 , our colors are too close to MSST, would like someway of distancing us from that

I tend to agree but what ultimately matters is winning. If black uniforms is what does it, then I'm in

Ive never understood this argument at all.
Do you really think during a game a player looks down at his uniform and says " Im gonna play harder this play because im wearing a black jersey "
A gimmick uniform does nothing at all as far as the outcome of the game.

Anyone saying any sort of combo of black and maroon, do you not understand how awful that would look?

Maroon jerseys and black helmets? No thanks.

I'd like either all black, black jersey and helmet with white pants, or a traditional maroon.

doubt we still have them, but in the JFF years we had a helmet with the state of Texas outline around the aTm, and it was mostly maroon but faded downward to black.
(loved the helmet logo design, but didn't really care for the color fade)

That helmet, with the color fade, could work really well with a black jersey.
Then add the maroon pants.

Got any photoshop wizards who are bored today?

I don't recall Alabama ever in alternate unis. I personally prefer maroon jerseys white pants at home. Maroon helmets white facemasks

Is it not possible for paint to be made in the correct shade of maroon? Why does the SEC logo paint look like bama red or crimson whatever ffs?

If it's all black then it's a complete fail. To be a legitimate national brand you need recognizable consistency especially with school colors or be Oregon

Oregon has played in more Conference and National Championship games in the last 15 years than A&M in the past 100 years.

I dont have a problem being Oregon, but thats just me.
