I have a lot of gripes about today.
-Reed just came off a performance where he was antsy in the pocket, wasn't setting his feet and was throwing inaccurate passes late. Did we not do anything during the past two weeks to remedy that? Because he was even worse today.

-When you script your plays and the defense is prepared, why do we stick to a bad script and continue throwing hitch routs for no gain just because it's next on the list. We squandered 2 drives as a result. For the first time, I'm glad Klein is leaving.

-For a coach to run a fake punt in that situation but not go for it on our last 4th down makes no sense and was in my view a lack of commitment. Miami had already started exploiting our weakness and they were beyond where we had the ball in a single play. That decision was a give up in my opinion. At that juncture, the last thing that can happen is a late, late score. You're better turning it over at mid field.

-Elko is not looking good in this finish. We haven't played well since the new contract. So he can bellow all he wants about questions about past performance of the program. Because, as of today, he's squarely in the middle of it.

Accurate for 86 years and counting. I'm in my 50s and even my parents weren't born the last time we were national champs.

Tbh…we should be playing Tulane…committee shafted us.

Refs yes absolutely. Reed is fine, but he has ZERO time to throw. If I heard "the pocket collapsed" one more time, I'd put it at the top of The Official Texas Aggie Football Drinking Game. Our problem is the O-LINE. Our problem is also the D-LINE. Pour NIL into lines on both sides, and we'll be a perennial contender (and we certainly would not continue to embarrass ourselves). Having no lines is getting old. I wish we could stop the run, and I wish we'd give a promising young QB time to throw.

The fake punt was insane. If you pin them within the 20, they aren't even trying to score at that point. You get a 3 and out, use your timeouts and you are getting the ball right back at midfield. Unnecessary risk right there.

Klein will be fired from KSU in 3 years, and promoting from within for the OC will come back to bite us next year.

Wonder if Elko has promised Reed's dad to have Reed attempt to be a pocket passer since the NFL is not likely looking for a running QB (not that Reed has much chance of playing in the NFL). They have taken away Reed's wheels and with the way he passes, he needs to be running a lot more.

Can Reed still take Kiffin's offer?

In the past we've had some great recruiting classes. Now we can buy talent and we still can't get it done. Any analyst would tell you in the history of college football A&M is top team for doing so little while having so much.

I was expecting him to run it in for the TD. Then we were going to go for 2 and Colleen's parting shot was going to be another boneheaded call which resulted in failed conversion and we go down by 1 reminiscent of the 1990 loss to the sips in Austin.

The no call on targeting or even a lack of a review has my BAS flared up.

Maybe the ladies will win tomorrow. That will help.

Honest question...do universities have the final say on whether or not Game Day is on campus? If so, A&M should never allow Game Day on campus again. If the BAS curse wasn't bad enough...add the GD curse and we are screwed before kickoff.

We took advantage of an incredibly easy schedule to go to cfp. That Sec schedule will probably never happen again for us. We lost to an Acc team who's conference is so bad that their champion couldn't qualify against two G5 champs. Nobody should be surprised or upset about outcome. Making the cfp was our peak for this season.

The amount of "winder licker" t-shirt fans talking **** about our game today is hysterical. Those fa66ots lost to Florida and miss the playoffs, but wanna run their cock holsters about us.

It's a big jump for sure, and A&M was bad in the 3 biggest games at Kyle the last 2 seasons under Klein. Somehow today was worse than the t.u. and Notre Dame games last year. I know players have to execute but good riddance.

It was a very frustrating 10-3 loss to Miami in a home playoff game. We outgained Miami 326 to 278; had 21 first downs to 12 first downs and won the time of possession 33:44 to 26:16, but we lost the turnover margin 3 to 1. Also, we scored just 3 points on 3 red zone trips because of a blocked 22-yard field goal and game-ending interception in the end zone. Consequently, we lost our last two games after starting 11-0 and became the second team to lose a home playoff game in a span of 16 hours. I noticed several other trends:

1. Miami snapped our 7-game home winning streak by handing us our first home loss since a 17-7 home loss to Texas on 11/30/24, 385 days or 55 weeks ago.

2. We have lost 2 consecutive home games to Power 4 nonconference teams and 2 consecutive games to Miami since a 17-9 home win on 9/17/22.

3. We have lost 3 consecutive bowl or playoff games since a 41-27 win over North Carolina in the 2021 Orange Bowl on 1/2/21.

4. We scored just 10 points in the last 6 quarters combined after scoring 10 points in the first half at Texas.

5. Miami snapped the ACC's 8-game losing streak in CFP/NY6 bowl games, giving the ACC their first CFP/NY6 since Clemson's 29-23 win over Ohio State in the 2019 Fiest Bowl CFP Semifinal on 12/28/2019.

The fake punt is Elko acknowledging Klein can't manufacture a TD

I saw Reed do stuff today I've never seen him do. I saw him just haphazardly toss the ball away when under pressure instead of protecting the ball and taking the sack. I saw him continuously stand in the pocket way too long holding the ball, resulting in multiple sacks. These slow developing plays are the direct result of an inept OC and his brain dead BigXII mentality.

When will enough people get tired of this never-ending cycle of mediocrity? When will we demand something better? I've been watching this circus for 40 years and nothing has changed except the stadium.
