Yes, cutting off NIL deals is a great way to attract top talent.

He is good but in the wrong play calls for him to maximize what he does. We need to run the ball with him and encourage him to use his legs. Why we tried to turn a dual threat into a pocket passer is beyond me. We coached scared should have let him run the ball.

Yeah, because there are so many other programs that pay top dollar and don't demand accountability from their players. I can't imagine how tightly your pearls would be clutched if you saw Ohio State fans' comments about their kicker after the Indiana game.

Irrelevant. This is the third decade of the twenty-first century. Players only care about how much they get paid. And they should know that if they don't perform up to expectations, they DON'T get paid.

It is a job, pure and simple, one for which they get paid fairly handsomely. If the players aren't paid what they think they're worth, they leave; don't let's pretend they're so naive as to believe the reverse isn't also true.
