Since we promoted our OC and DC from within, what happens to that (what I presume to be) extra money? Do we spend it on players?

These hires better work out because if they don't, Elko has burned his opportunity to get whoever he wants outside the program. If he's searching again in 3 years, it means things have gone badly forcing Elko to the bargain bin to settle for insurance salesmen like Fran did.
