I think we shocked everyone coming into the year. They expected us to be a run first team and we could surprise them with our explosive new receivers. Last year's offense was 80% run up the middle and sometimes surprise with a pass. It was really slow and we were begging them to try and throw the ball.

This year was different. The new options gave us a huge advantage through the first half of the season but as we played better teams they were better prepared. I think it was a much better offense (averaged 7 more points a game) but smart teams clocked it and locked it down. Hopefully new staff can put together something less predictable and protect that success

In the last two ballgames the issue was the accuracy of our staring QB. The routes were open and would have yielded more yardage and TDs if the passes were delivered on time and on target.
