Miguel said finishing was the focus for the team this year. Literally the only reason this loss hurts is because we didnt finish. Dropped the last 2. If we would've went 10-2 and lost in the playoffs I would've thought "wow at least we made the playoffs this year." But we started hot then didnt finish.

To win the NC, we would likely need to beat Miami, Ohio State, and probably Georgia and Indiana in successive weeks.

We got the suckiest draw, and we weren't going to win the NC this season.

The team played terrible football.

Reed couldn't even hit short passes. No run game. Special teams were a mess.

A loss is one thing, but today's performance was mind-bogglingly bad, even by A&M's standards.

Bull***** One more win and you'd all be saying Miami isn't that good and shouldn't have been in rhe playoff in the first place. Then you'd whine about how Ohio State is going to kill us. And then if we lost you'd cry and gnash your teeth about how we got beat by a team Indiana beat. And so on and on… The goal posts always move in here.

It sucks because we beat ourselves.

It's very unlikely we would have won the NC. The team just wasn't that good. What ruined the season was blowing the last two games in similar fashion. Wining either one helps solidify the season and possibly win a championship (nc or sec). Instead got nothing and lost both meaningful games. Miami at home should have been a clear win. Just can't capitalize and its a massive disappointment. Also the schedule was so easy compared to most years, you really needed to make more out of the opportunity.
